Margo Gunn (born 8th February 1956 in Doncaster) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in both October 1987 and March 1988 as Dr Lockwood, who made house-calls to the Rovers on both occasions; and she returned to the programme between October 1997 and March 1998 as Linda Lindsay, the unsuspecting wife of the villainous Jon Lindsay.
Her other credits include roles in Murder Not Proven? Badger Girl, The Practice, Shadow of the Noose, Blood Rights, The Bill, Doctor Finlay, Revelations, Wycliffe, Heartbeat, Band of Gold, The Adventures of Swiss Family Robinson, Dalziel and Pascoe and New Tricks.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Golden Girls, The Happiest Days of Your Life, The Crucible, Far from the Madding Crowd, Habeas Corpus, Daisy Pulls It Off and The Miser.
She was director of Drama at Gateways School near Leeds from 2003 to 2005 and has since taught the subject at a variety of different institutions.
