Margaret Shevlin (born 6th June 1953 in Newry, Northern Ireland) appeared on Coronation Street in January 1973 as Jean Cooper, the sister of Christine Peters, who snatched baby Jason Lomax from his pram outside the Rovers.
She previously appeared in the untransmitted pilot of the proposed spin-off from Coronation Street entitled Rest Assured in 1972.
Her other credits include A Raging Calm, Harry's Game, The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾, Forever Green, A Touch of Frost, Father Ted and Eureka Street.
On stage, she appeared in a production of Dangerous Corner at the Ambassadors Theatre, London.
