Marcus Christopherson appeared on Coronation Street as Shane Lawrence, a member of the boisterous stag party who held celebrations in the Rovers in April 2016. He returned to the programme in January 2021 as an inmate of Highfield Prison at the same time that Johnny Connor and Gary Windass were being held there.
Graduating from ALRA North in 2015 with an MA in Professional Acting, he made his television debut in Coronation Street. His other appearances include the short Just Someone I Know and stage productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Echo Funnel, A Taste of Honey, Three Sisters, Hamlet, The Funfair, Earthquakes in London, Jack the Lad, Cheers, Waiting for Spring, Our Kid, Sewage in Milwaukee, Respond, What's The Good? and The More You Learn.
