Maggie Saunders appeared on Coronation Street between November 1995 and January 1996 as Alison Dunkley, sister of Denise Osbourne.
She graduated from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in 1985.
Her other credits include roles in Brookside as the second actress to portray Lucy Collins, The Bill, Specials, The Famous Five, Helen West, Meta4orce and Dead, along with the 2011 film Demons Never Die.
On stage, she appeared in productions including Tartuffe, The Philanthropist, Ivanov, Billy Liar, The Last Days of the Commune, She Stoops to Conquer and Charley's Aunt.
