Maggie Flint (born "Phyllis Margaret Flint" on 13th September 1924 in St Martin-in-the-Field, London; died 3rd July 1993 in Merton, Surrey) appeared on Coronation Street in July 1980 as Mrs. Bannister, a prospective buyer for the corner shop.
Her long career in television dated back to the 1950s and included credits (some under the name of "Margaret Flint") for roles in Sixpenny Corner (ITV’s first soap), Dixon of Dock Green, Boyd Q.C., Citizen James, No Hiding Place, Crossroads, Emergency-Ward 10, Steptoe and Son, Z Cars, The Elusive Pimpernel, A Pin to See the Peepshow, Marked Personal, South Riding, One-Upmanship, Holding On, Somebody's Daughter, Gulliver in Lilliput, In Sickness and in Health, The Bill, Slinger's Day, Woof! and Birds of a Feather.
Film roles included Women Without Men, Danger Tomorrow, The Marked One, The Silent Playground, The Charge of the Light Brigade, The Lovers!, Funny Money and Scandalous.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Hay Fever and Steaming.
