Margaret Cara "Maggie" Driscoll is the mother of Ben Driscoll.
In 2025, Maggie became a co-owner the Rovers Return Inn when she put up the money for Ben to buy the Coronation Street pub. Since then, she has moved in and battled for control with landlady Eva Price.
Biography[]
Maggie Driscoll grew up in Ireland and raised her sons Ben and Finlay there. She later became a grandmother to Ben's sons Ollie and Will.
By 2025, Ben was living in Hull with his new partner Eva Price and her daughter Susie. In October of that year, when the family moved to Weatherfield, Maggie put up some of the money for them to buy the Rovers Return Inn in a private arrangement with Ben after he came up short on funds. Moving into the pub to protect her investment, Maggie declared that while Eva was licensee and landlady, the Rovers was hers. The result was a staff confused about the chain of command and a Halloween party row over Maggie spending all evening serving free drinks in a 'Pick Your Poison' game.
While settling into Coronation Street, Maggie showed her more caring side when she came across Asha Alahan having a panic attack in Victoria Gardens and listened to her troubles, getting her to agree to go in an ambulance for mental health assessment.
