Lynn met up with Lewis Archer at the Chariot Square Hotel in December 2018 and the two were watched by Gail Rodwell who feared that Lewis was up to his old ways and attempting to fleece her mother Audrey Roberts out of the £80,000 that had been left to her by Archie Shuttleworth in his will.

Lewis died a few weeks later of a heart attack and in the following June Gail investigated the meeting and discovered that Lynn was a wedding planner and that the two were discussing a surprise ceremony that Lewis had been planning in order to marry Audrey.
