Lyn Douglas appeared on Coronation Street between November and December 1979 as Alice Nelson, mother of Ivy Tilsley.
Her other credits include roles in Second City Firsts, When the Boat Comes In, Sink or Swim, The Machine Gunners, Byker Grove, Spender and The Gambling Man.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Gone with the Wind, Dear Jo, Strippers and The King and the Corpse.
