Louise Sutton began her Coronation Street career as a storyliner (then called a "story associate") for 417 episodes in two stints between July 2007 and March 2009. She then took up the position of story editor for a further 20 episodes between March and April 2009.
Moving on to become series editor, she then worked under producers Kim Crowther and Phil Collinson as assistant producer between 2010 and 2012. After leaving Coronation Street, she has been the producer of many series including The Dumping Ground, Midsomer Murders, Death in Paradise, Jekyll & Hyde, Home Fires, Black Mirror and Butterfly.
