Lottie Ward appeared on Coronation Street in six roles:

- Kabin customer Mrs Dawson in December 1983
- Lady Victuallers' member Beryl Hinchcliffe in March 1985
- Party host Mrs Cresswell in March 1989
- Guest house owner Eileen Wentworth, appearing in both July and September 1992
- An antiques dealer in July 1995
She also appeared in Jury Duty, an episode of the Street spin-off The Brothers McGregor, transmitted in February 1987.
Her other credits include roles in the Granada Television epic The Jewel in the Crown as well as episodes of The Glamour Girls, Juliet Bravo, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Floodtide, How We Used to Live, A Likely Lad, Cracker, At Home with the Braithwaites and two roles in Emmerdale (replacing an ill Cheryl Murray in one of those parts) as well as the film Let Him Have It.
On stage, she appeared in a production of Fur Coat and No Knickers at the Royal Theatre, Bath.
