Lorna Brown (born in London) appeared on Coronation Street in September 2007 as a Weatherfield General-based consultant, attending Bethany Platt, hospitalised having unwittingly swallowed an Ecstacy tablet.
She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Her other television credits include roles in The Bill, Casualty, Holby City, French and Saunders, The Catherine Tate Show, Ronni Ancona & Co., The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle, Doctors, Devils, Hard Cell, Vampire Academy, The Witcher, The Bay and Spent.
Film roles include Lille soldat, Gambit, Les Misérables, The Lady in the Van, Taking Stock, Why Hide?, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, K-12, Terminator: Dark Fate and The Batman.
On stage, she appeared in productions including Once on This Island, Up Against the Wall, One Dance Will Do, Anansi Steals the Wind, Shoot 2 Win, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Funny Black Women on the Edge, Da Boyz, The Weave, The Big Life, The Cry of the Cricket, Trade, 93.2 FM, Things of Dry Hours, Short Fuses, Clybourne Park, Fear, Damned by Despair, Crowning Glory, Blurred Lines, Medea, Little Light, Oresteia, Torn, Bodies, Wings, Hamet and Two Ladies.
She is also a singer and tutor.
