Lois Mackie appeared in Coronation Street intermittently between July 2021 and March 2022 as journalist Chris Golding.
Born in Lancashire, she moved to Glasgow to train at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland from 2010 to 2013. She has also appeared in M.I. High and The Misdirect.
On stage she has appeared in Plunge, Playing with Shakespeare, The Room Upstairs, Lifeboat, Romeo and Juliet, The River, Miss Julie, Best Girl and Mission.. Save the World!
Lois is the daughter of fellow actress Christine Mackie who has also appeared in Coronation Street in four different roles, most recently Dr Gaddas intermittently since 2014.
