Lisa Whiteside appeared on Coronation Street in four roles:
- A receptionist at a clinic in Ancoats, where Violet Wilson attended in December 2006
- A checkout assistant at Price Co cash and carry in May 2009
- Corina, a lap-dancing colleague of Cheryl Gray in May 2010
- The nurse at the pyschiatric unit of Weatherfield General, who assessed Sarah Platt, and concluded that she'd progressed enough to be discharged in October 2016.
She graduated from the University of Salford in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts, from the University of Huddersfield in 2009 with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Visual and Performing Arts, and from the University of Leeds in 2014 with an MA in Writing for Performance and Publication.
Her other credits include roles in Emmerdale, Life and Brassic, along with the 2009 film Lookin' for Lucky.
On stage, she appeared in productions including Return to the Forbidden Planet, Oh! What a Lovely War, Twelve Angry Women, The Bald Prima Donna, An Actor's Nightmare, Ubu Rex-Adventures in Pataphysics, Twelfth Night, Rhinoceros, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Laramie Project, Robo Sapiens, Karry Owky, 96 Tonnes, Happy Jack, Married... Just, The Ten-Ten Shift, Happy Jack, The Collector, In Other Words, Sketch in the City and Goldfish.
