Lisa Shingler appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly intermittently between August 1997 and March 1998 as Rachel Forbes, an agent for Marshall Loveday property management who also had a brief relationship with Steve McDonald; and she returned to the programme in both May and August 2024 as Demi Mansfield who, ironically, Steve met through an online dating app.
She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Her other credits include roles in Cold Lazarus, The Bill, Big Women, The Vanishing Man, Babes in the Wood, Wing and a Prayer, Casualty, Barbara, Doctors, 15 Storeys High and Holby City.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Leave It to Jane, Othello, Jack and the Beanstalk, Babes in the Wood, A Chorus of Disapproval and The Beggar's Opera.
She is married to actor Grant Masters, who himself appeared on Coronation Street.
