Linus William Roache (born 1st February 1964 in Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly between October 1973 and April 1975 as Peter Barlow, the on-screen son of his real-life father William Roache; and he returned to the programme in September 2010 as Lawrence Cunningham. He also appeared in the 2001 documentary Ken and Me along with his father and family.

His other credits include A Sort of Innocence, Seaforth, Kidnapped, the movie Batman Begins, playing EADA Michael Cutter in the long-running U.S television series Law & Order from 2008 to 2010, and a spin-off show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 2011 to 2012, Vikings, Summer of Rockets, Homeland, The Recruit, Billy the Kid and Fellow Travelers.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Indigo, Titus Andronicus, A Question of Geography, Keeping Tom Nice, Julius Caesar, Divine Gossip, The Last Days of Don Juan, King Lear, Richard II and Uncle Vanya for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Other works include Juno and the Paycock, On, Love's Labour's Lost, The Deep Blue Sea and Coriolanus.

His mother Anna Cropper and partner Rosalind Bennett have both appeared on Coronation Street.
