Lindsay Hayward was a pupil at Bessie Street School who bullied Faye Windass in July 2012; the reason being that Faye was an adopted child. She also turned up at Simon Barlow's birthday party at Nick's Bistro and insulted him.
Her grandmother - who was head of the school governors - was mortified when she was informed about what had happened by school headteacher Brian Packham and frogmarched Lindsay round to 6 Coronation Street to apologise, making her granddaughter promise that she wouldn't bother Faye again.
