Linda Marlowe is an actress who played two minor roles on Coronation Street: Marje Collier in November 1984; and in July 2008 played Marian Lund - a former girlfriend of Ken Barlow - when they met up again at a Manchester University reunion (although the role was originally played by Patricia Heneghan when the character first appeared in 1961).

Born in Sydney, Australia as Linda Bathurst on 26th July 1940, her parents decided to return to England when she was ten and Linda trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Soon after leaving drama school she got a leading role in weekly rep at the Connaught Theatre in Worthing, followed by a season at the Birmingham Rep, and then got a big leading role in a play at the Gate Theatre in Dublin.

She now lives on the north side of Clapham Common, London.

TV and film credits include roles in The Third Man, The Plane Makers, Becket, Mary Barton, No Hiding Place, Callan, ITV Playhouse, The Saint, Hadleigh, Within These Walls, The Gentle Touch, Grange Hill, Boon, King & Castle, Ruth Rendell Mysteries, The Bill, Lovejoy, Silent Witness, Dalziel and Pascoe, Spooks, Holby City, Jekyll, Foyle's War, Midsomer Murders, Doctors, I Shouldn't Be Alive and EastEnders.
