Liam Boyle (born 19th September 1985 in Bolton) appeared in Coronation Street between October and November 2019 as Highfield Prison inmate Abe Crowley.
As a teenager he attended the Oldham Theatre Workshop where many other Coronation Street actors had learned their trade. He had intentions of studying teaching at university but changed course when he was offered a role in the film Love + Hate. Since then he has also appeared in Shameless, Northern Lights, The Bill, The Innocence Project, Casualty, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Doctors, The Street, Spooks: Code 9, Robin Hood, Land Girls, Scott & Bailey and Skins.
Other film roles include Awaydays, Powder, Truth or Die, The Look of Love, In T'Vic, Mirrors and Kill Pill.
