Leslie Southwick (born 1942 in Toxteth, Liverpool) appeared on Coronation Street in four roles:
- Pop singer "Johnny Panic" in May 1963 who auditioned for Dennis Tanner.
- Policeman Ted, who in August 1963 called time on a noisy evening in the Rovers Return Inn.
- Skinny Williams, a lackey of Jed Stone, who appeared in January 1966
- Thug Eric Briggs, involved in a fight inside Dave Smith's betting shop in February 1967.
His other credits include Z Cars, The Man in Room 17, Public Eye, The Mind of Mr. J.G. Reeder, Take Three Girls, Softly Softly: Task Force, The Man Outside, Warship, Dial M for Murder and Fortunes of War. On the big screen, he had a role in the 1967 Hammer classic Quatermass and the Pit.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Troilus and Cressida, The Devils, Curtmantle, The Comedy of Errors and King Lear for the RSC. Other works include A Phoenix Too Frequent, Ardèle, Hostile Witness and She Stoops to Conquer.
