He returned to the programme in April 2021 as Wilf, a widower who Todd Grimshaw ripped off by selling him the most expensive funeral package that Shuttleworth's had to offer.
He trained at the Rosemary Bruford Drama School and has worked for various repertory theatres, as a director and writer for fringe theatres in London and for community and theatre-in-education companies across the UK before he switched careers to go into counselling and therapy in 1995.
