Lee Salisbury worked as a director on Coronation Street between January 2014 and November 2015, contributing a total of 31 episodes. His wish was always to work in television and, as such, he completed a media studies course at university. His early work was as a runner on such live programmes as Live and Kicking, Watchdog and Talking Telephone Numbers and after stints as a researcher and associate producer, he gained an apprenticeship director’s place on Emmerdale. He has since worked extensively on that programme and EastEnders as well as Hollyoaks and Holby City.
