Kimberley Gail Marsh (previously Ryder and Lomas) (born 13th June 1976 in Wigan, Lancashire) first entered the public eye in 2001 when she was a contestant on the "reality TV" show Popstars. She was one of the five winners who formed the briefly successful group Hear'say. An attempt at a solo career followed and included an entry in the Eurovision Song Contest preliminary contest. She also presented the daytime talk show Loose Women in late 2005.

Her acting career began in musicals and pantomimes, and she played the Coronation Street role of Michelle Connor full-time between September 2006 and December 2019, following a short trial period earlier in 2006.
