Kerry Kathleen Angus (born 1960 in Tynemouth) appeared on Coronation Street in March 1995 as Sister Steadman, on duty at Weatherfield General when Tracy Barlow was admitted having taken bad Ecstasy.
She trained in classical ballet from the age of three and studied Drama at Bretton Hall College, graduating in 1982.
Her other credits include roles in Ain't Misbehavin, How We Used to Live, Goodnight Sweetheart and Byker Grove.
On stage, she appeared in a 1987 production of Verdict at the Palace Avenue Theatre, Paignton.
