Kenneth Waller (born 5th November 1927 in Huddersfield, died 28th January 2000 in London) appeared on Coronation Street as Arthur Watts - father of Curly Watts - who portrayed the character between March and July 1988 (actor John Pickles was recast in the role upon the character's return in December 1995).

After leaving school, he worked as a wages clerk before being called up for National Service and served in the RAF. He then worked for an auctioneer's firm and gained acting experience in rep at Oxford Playhouse.

His other television credits included roles in Starr and Company, Z Cars, Crossroads, The Onedin Line, The Fenn Street Gang, Dixon of Dock Green, The Liver Birds, Six Days of Justice, South Riding, All Creatures Great and Small, Are You Being Served?, Fair Ground!, Big Deal, Roll Over Beethoven, The Pickwick Papers, Bread and The Queen's Nose.

Film roles included Room at the Top, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Scrooge, Fiddler on the Roof, The Love Pill and Carry on Behind.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Salad Days, On the Level, Irma la Douce, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Once a Catholic, The Importance of Being Earnest and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
