Ken Christiansen (born 6th August 1971 in Lancaster), is a British actor who appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between December 1999 and April 2000 as Jerry Hopkins, the abusive husband of Martin Platt's nursing colleague, Rebecca.
He completed a three year Acting course at Drama Centre, London in 1992 and went on to work for the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. He has also been credited on screen for roles in Cracker, The Bill, Peak Practice, Picking up the Pieces, Where the Heart Is, Hollyoaks, Kingmakers, Casualty, Dream Team, Holby City and Doctors. His films include the 2014 BAFTA nominated The Selfish Giant, Fish Eye, The War Bride, The Resurrection, Treacle, Bug and The Obit Woman.
