Kenneth Peter Christiansen (born 6th August 1971 in Lancaster) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between December 1999 and April 2000 as Jerry Hopkins, the abusive husband of Martin Platt's nursing colleague, Rebecca.

He completed a three year Acting course at Drama Centre, London in 1992 and went on to work for the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre.

His other television credits include roles in Cracker, Casualty, Picking up the Pieces, Holby City, Doctors, Hollyoaks, Strike and It's a Sin.

Film roles include The War Bride, The Selfish Giant, Chasing Robert Barker, The Black Prince, Breathe Easy and Everybody's Talking About Jamie.

On stage, he appeared in productions of The School of Night, A Jovial Crew, Misha's Party, Antony and Cleopatra, An Absolute Turkey, Mother Courage and her Children, Fool for Love, Pacific Overtures, Closer to Heaven, Death Takes a Holiday and Everybody's Talking About Jamie.
