Katie McArdle appeared on Coronation Street in October 2010 as a Nurse on duty when Graeme Proctor was admitted to Weatherfield General, having been run-over by David Platt.
She trained in Performing Arts and Media at the University of Central Lancashire and has been credited for roles in Demo Dave and Murder in Suburbia, as well as the short films The Duke, The Caller and Notice. On stage she has appeared in productions including Daisy Pulls it Off, Contre Coup, Can't Stand Up For Falling Down, Raving Beauties, Of Mice and Men and Sanctuary from the Trenches.
