Kathleen Helme (born 1921 in Carlisle, died 30th December 2019 in Hove) appeared on Coronation Street as Agnes Greenwood in January 1968.
Her other credits included roles in United!, Z Cars, City '68, Beryl's Lot, Madame Bovary, All Creatures Great and Small, Emmerdale, Hannah and In Loving Memory.
On stage, she appeared in productions of The Winslow Boy, Dangerous Corner, The Man in Grey, Someone Waiting, Yellow Sands, Love in Idleness, The Trial of Mary Dugan, For Better, For Worse, The Passing of the Third Floor Back, Holdfast and The Lovebirds for Salisbury Arts Theatre. Other works include The Two Bouquets, Doctor's Joy, The Cherry Orchard, Watch It, Sailor! and The Circle.
