Kate Murray-Henderson was heard on Coronation Street in August 1978 as the voice of Lisa, a radio operator at Ron Mather's black cab taxi firm.
Her other voice work was on the Manchester-produced children's animated series Jamie and the Magic Torch and Count Duckula.
