Kate Kordel appeared in two roles on Coronation Street: firstly in February 2020 as the bullied secretary to Miles Ingham, Ray Crosby's lawyer; and she returned to the programme in February 2023 as Kay, the rightful owner of the motorbike that Peter Barlow traded up from a tablet.
She graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2009 and Coronation Street was her television debut however she has amassed a long list of theatre credits including parts in The Comedy of Errors, On The High Road, Hollywood Squares, The Boss Of It All, Romeo and Juliet, The Enchanted Trail, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Richard II, The Taming of the Shrew, Hobson's Choice and The Voices.
