Kate Faulkner appeared in two roles in Coronation Street: in May 2001 she played Alma Halliwell's lawyer Lisa Sugden while from March to November 2003 she made irregular appearances as Mandy Pearce, a friend of Lucy Barlow's.
She has also appeared in Clocking Off, Emmerdale and the Sky drama Now You See Her. On stage she has been in Under Milk Wood, Road and The Gut Girls while her film credits include Beast, Runner and Winter Park.
