Julie was the girlfriend of Nick Clayton who visited Street Cars in November 2005.
Nick's stepmother Ronnie Clayton had been contacted by Charlie Fellows, an old client from her old taxi firm Connect Cabs and despite the warnings of Eileen Grimshaw and Claire Peacock, she drove to Wildclough Farm to collect him.
When Julie was buzzed into Street Cars, she asked for Ronnie and admitted that although she had no time for the woman, she was worried about her boyfriend Nick. She warned that Nick was often roped into his dad Jimmy's schemes and that what they were planning could land them both in prison.
Julie told Claire that they had planned to lure Ronnie out to a farm to hurt her and to warn Ronnie of their plans. Eileen and Claire were unable to contact Ronnie and instead told her boyfriend Steve McDonald of Jimmy and Nick's plans.
