Julian Perkins was a long-standing production designer for Coronation Street, his first episode airing 12th October 1997 and his last 11th June 2006. Altogether he handled 1882 episodes of the programme with thirty-two of them co-credited with Christopher Walker.
During his time, he handled the changes to the 1982 Outdoor Set which incorporated the extension to Rosamund Street and the addition of Victoria Street. He was also the designer of the 1999 spin-off Coronation Street - After Hours, otherwise known as The Brighton Bubble.
His other credits include Combat Kids, Ingenious, House of Anubis, Rocket's Island, The Evermoor Chronicles and Hollyoaks.
