Julia Goodman (born 1951) appeared on Coronation Street in April and November 1996 as racehorse trainer Hilary Forrest.

Educated at Villa Maria convent school in Bognor Regis, her parents were already well known in the world of theatre and the arts and followed in their footsteps, joining both the Chichester Players and Festival Theatre. It was after studying at London's Central Drama School that she was "discovered" by television.

Credits include roles in Up Pompeii!, Z Cars, The Lotus Eaters, The Brothers, Chalk and Cheese, Grange Hill, Inspector Morse, The Bill and the films Steptoe and Son, What's Up Superdoc! and Twenty-One, and stage credits include productions of As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing, Equus and Pygmalion.

in 1989 she founded her own training company, Personal Presentation Ltd.
