Judy Gridley (born "Lilian Judith Gridley" on 22nd May 1946 in Scarborough, died 11th October 1987 in London) appeared on Coronation Street between November 1984 and January 1985 as Elaine Webster, the niece of Percy Sugden and second wife of Bill Webster.

She studied at the Royal Academy and Grandison College prior to going to Paris to study mime. Four years of theatre work there was followed by a tour of Italy. She returned to London and was in the original West End production of Cabaret.

Her other television credits included roles in Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, Rosie, Funny Man, Kelly Monteith, By the Sword Divided, Murphy's Mob, Boon and Rude Health.

Film roles included 200 Motels with Frank Zappa, Keith Moon and Ringo Starr, Up the Front, The Wildcats of St. Trinian's, Moonlighting and A Month in the Country.

On stage, she appeared in productions of Ambassador and Outside Edge.

She was married to musician, Howard Tibble, and succumbed to breast cancer, aged 41.
