Judith Sarah Brooke (born 21st February 1970 in Leeds) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in March 1989 as optician's assistant, Anita; and she returned to the programme intermittently between February 1992 and September 1994 as Paula Maxwell, the on-off girlfriend of Andy McDonald.
She made her first professional appearance at the Leeds Playhouse at the age of fourteen in a production of Willy Russell’s Our Day Out.
Her other credits include roles in The Beiderbecke Tapes and its sequel The Beiderbecke Connection, All Creatures Great and Small, Emmerdale, Children's Ward, Medics, Band of Gold and its sequel Gold.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Charley's Aunt, Death of a Salesman, Alfie, Titus Andronicus, An Inspector Calls, A Little Hotel on the Side, The Amazing Dancing Bear, The Crucible and The Plotters of Cabbage Patch Corner.
