Joyce Kennedy (born 3rd August 1937 in Leeds) appeared on Coronation Street in four roles:
- Freda Todd in July 1976
- Alma Walsh, barmaid at The Flying Horse who had a brief relationship with Fred Gee, appearing between May and June 1978
- Mrs Linkwater, co-owner of the Broadoak Park Garden Centre, appearing in June 1990
- A doctor's receptionist in June 1992.
Her other television credits include roles in Crown Court, Last of the Summer Wine, Emmerdale, Heartbeat and the regular part of Dorothy Fuller in Granada Television's twice-weekly medical drama The Practice, which ran from 1985 to 1986. On the bigger screen, she appeared in the films Fanny and Elvis and Yasmin.
