Jonathan Barlow (born 3rd January 1956 in Telford, died 10th January 2014 in Waltham Forest, London) appeared on Coronation Street between June and July 1987 as joiner, Jeff Singleton, who dated Gail Tilsley for a short time.
His other television credits included roles in Fallen Hero, Strangers, Feet First, The Practice, Brookside, Albion Market, Making Out, The Ruth Rendell Mysteries, The Bill, Springhill, Heartbeat, Fat Friends, In Deep, Spooks, Doctors and the regular role of John in Crossroads from 2001 to 2002.
Film roles included Rosie Dixon - Night Nurse, Scandalous, Jackboots on Whitehall and U Want Me 2 Kill Him?.
He was also a member of a 1960s-style band, "The Almost Legendary Walter and The Softies" (named after characters in The Beano), who played for charity concerts amongst other appearances.
Jonathan succumbed to pancreatic cancer, aged 58.
