Jonathan Adams (born 14th February 1931 in Northampton as John Adams, died 13th June 2005 in London) appeared in two roles in Coronation Street: as Mr Parker in June 1968 and as Mark Brittain Warehouse manager Peter Bromley in June 1971.
He originally trained as an artist and taught in his hometown before joining the RAF. He was a performer with the Children's Theatre Company and appeared in the West End for two years in Alibi For a Judge. He was also the narrator in the original run of The Rocky Horror Show.
His other television credits include The Man in Room 17, The Wednesday Play, A Family at War, Z Cars, Crown Court, Dixon of Dock Green, Edward the Seventh, Jesus of Nazareth, Bergerac, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, First Among Equals, Star Cops, Forever Green, Moon and Son (starring John Michie) and Kavanagh QC.
His film roles included parts in Eskimo Nell, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Adventures of a Private Eye.
Radio work includes Saturday Playhouse, Odd Obits and Would the Last Businessman.....
