Johnny Maxfield (born "John Heywood" on 12th August 1930 in Macclesfield, died 9th April 2002 in Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in four roles:
- A workman employed by Alfred Wormold between October and November 1976
- A drunk in both January and June 1977
- A man in the street in June 1987
- Joe Kay, a former army comrade of Joss Shackleton, who attended his funeral tea in November 1993.
His other credits included roles in Crown Court, All Creatures Great and Small, The Onedin Line, Strangers, Emmerdale Farm, Horace, Brookside, Charlie and Hetty Wainthropp Investigates.
