John Warburton appeared on Coronation Street in February 2009 as Barry Sidwell, a coach driver with a party of fifty heavy metal fans, who ended up in the Rovers when his satnav took him the wrong way.
He graduated from Middlesex University in 1995.
His other on-screen credits include roles in Shelfstackers, along with the films Zemanovaload and The Tournament.
On the other side of the camera, he penned episodes of Dragons' Den Online, Gigglebiz, Scallywagga and Hounded.
Winner of the City Life Comedian of the Year award in 2004, he has since opened a small PR firm in Manchester and continues occasionally in stand-up comedy.
