John Tordoff (born 11th September 1938 in Rochester, Kent) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- Arnold in September 1968
- Photographer Norman Hill in August 1978
- Keith Hesketh, son-in-law of the late Sidney Templeton, who appeared between August and September 1999.
He attended the Silver Jubilee Secondary Modern School in Bedford and won a scholarship to RADA, aged eighteen, graduating in 1957.
His other television credits include roles in Resurrection, The Elusive Pimpernel, The First Churchills, Madame Bovary, Jesus of Nazareth, The Famous Five, Citizen Smith, Minder and Merlin, while film roles include Billy Liar, Carry on Jack, Little Dorrit and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The Tenth Man, Listen to the Knocking Bird, Alfie, The Birdwatcher, Oedipus the King, When We Are Married, The Cavern, Saint Joan, Measure for Measure, Caesar and Cleopatra, The Wood Demon, Betzi, Hamlet, Macbeth, Horatio's Version, The Sunshine Boys and Chatsky.
