Joe Parkfield was a bookmaker at the Uttoxeter Racecourse who took bets from Don Brennan when Don went there on a date with Julie Dewhurst in November 1991. Don lost £30 on "Abbots Rose" but Julie's horse, "Rock Orchestra", won the race, winning her £5 on top of her £2 stake.
