Jodie Kate Hamblet (born 1989 in Bury) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly making intermittent appearances between November 2004 and March 2005 as Gemma Davenport, daughter of Ian and Justine Davenport, who attended Oakhill School with Rosie Webster; and she returned to the programme in December 2018 as Rose, a disgruntled customer at the Viaduct Bistro.
Her other credits include roles in Linda Green, Life on Mars, DCI Banks, Moving On, Shameless, My Mad Fat Diary, Home Fires and Hollyoaks, along with the 2012 film Spike Island.
On stage, she appeared in a 2009/10 production of Cinderella at Charter Theatre, Preston.
