Joanne Zorian (born 1956 in Bucklow, Cheshire) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in September 1985 as Mrs Charnock; and she returned to the programme in October 2002 as Charlotte Morris, the best friend of Richard Hillman's murdered ex-wife, Patricia.
She trained at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama followed by many years in various roles in repertory theatre.
Her other credits include roles in Cribb, The Practice, Bread, London's Burning, The Politician's Wife, Brookside, Doctors, Casualty, EastEnders, 4 O'Clock Club and Emmerdale, along with the films Shirley Valentine and A Gift from Bob.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Blood Brothers, A Chorus of Disapproval and The Beggar's Opera. She also co-wrote and performed in the one woman show The Ladies Who Lunch at the Edinburgh Festival and in London.
As well as continuing to appear in acting roles, she is an acting and voice coach, giving lessons in stage appearances, public speaking and television presentation.
