Jessie Evans (1st August 1918 - 2nd March 1983) was a Welsh actress who played two different roles on Coronation Street, Mrs Cook between September and October 1967; and she returned to the more regular role of Megan Hopkins from July 1974 to January 1975.
Prior to these roles she appeared in the Street spin-off Pardon the Expression in 1966. Her other credits include Nearest and Dearest and Z Cars.
