Actress, comedienne and writer Jayne Bickerton (previously Jayne Tunnicliffe) was born on 23rd May 1967 in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. She first appeared in Coronation Street as florist's assistant Debbie Eaton in March 2003 and later played the irregular role of Cilla Brown's tarty friend Yana Lumb between October 2004 and July 2007.

Throughout the 1990s she was a support act to many famous comedians including Jo Brand, Steve Coogan, Johnny Vegas and Street actor Peter Kay. In addition she appeared as alter ego and ukulele player "Mary Unfaithful". She co-wrote the radio sitcom Her off the Telly and appeared in Phoenix Nights and Clocking Off.

Jayne is also an accomplished artist and has exhibited her caricatures of Street characters at exhibitions.
