Jarreau Benjamin (born 5th November 1981 in Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:

He attended Birchfields Primary School and Burnage High School, before graduating from Salford University in 2010 with a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts.

Having become a keen basketball player, he went on to win numerous trophies and medals playing for the High School team, and was selected to represent the England Youth Basketball Team in 1996.

His other television credits include roles in Top Boy and Brassic. He also appeared in the 2012 feature film A Mancunian Story, along with the short films Gangstaz, Adventure Quest, Believe in Blue, The Butterfly Catcher, Big Night, The Knock, Imagine If Black Boys Just Smiled at Each Other and Smoke Dogg (which he also wrote, produced and directed).

On stage, he appeared in productions of The Changeling, Beyond the Frontline, Phaedra's Love, Diabetic Penguins, The Lion in Love, Len Johnson-Fighter and The Stars are Made of Concrete.
