James Redmond (born 24th November 1971 in London) is an actor, comedian and presenter who in January 2015 appeared on Coronation Street in the role of Hamish Young.
Educated at Clifton College in Bristol, Redmond has also been credited for roles in Hollyoaks from 1997 to 2001, the medical drama Casualty from 2003 to 2008 and Emmerdale in 2014.
He appeared on Celebrity Come Dine with Me in 2010 alongside former Street actor Brian Capron (who played Richard Hillman).
