James Duggan (died 29th January 2013) appeared on Coronation Street in October 1986 as Eddie Seddon, the violent, drunken father of Sally Seddon.
His other television credits included roles in Quatermass and the Pit, Doctor Who, Brensham People, The Further Adventures of Oliver Twist, Bull Week, The Great Detective, Young at Heart, Mapp & Lucia, Last of the Summer Wine, Rumpole of the Bailey, The Bill, Inspector Morse, In Suspicious Circumstances, Camino de Santiago and Doctors.
Film roles included Prick Up Your Ears, The Chilling, Vroom, The Young Americans, La femme du cosmonaute, County Kilburn and Sabotage!.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The Government Inspector, Tonight at 8.30, The Barretts of Wimpole Street, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, 1066 and All That and Toad of Toad Hall for Birmingham Repertory Theatre, along with a production of The Tempest.
While for radio, he appeared in a 1970 production of Afternoon Theatre.
