Jacqueline Leonard (born 28th November 1965 in Blackpool) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between February 2015 and May 2024 as Linda Hancock, ex-wife of Owen Armstrong and mother of Izzy and Katy.
A former pupil of Greenlands High School in Blackpool, she trained at LAMDA and is probably better known for her portrayal of Sarah Preston in Peak Practice and as Lorraine Wicks in EastEnders.
Other credits include roles in May to December, Inspector Morse, Maisie Raine, Doctors, The Bill, Hollyoaks, River City, Holby City, Waterloo Road and Casualty as well as the feature films Chaplin, ID, There's Only One Jimmy Grimble and The Wicker Tree. On stage she has appeared in productions including The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream, A Clockwork Orange and Wuthering Heights.
She auditioned and was shortlisted for the role of Stella Price in 2011, but lost out to Michelle Collins.
Her former husband is the actor Graham Turner.
